This Kamen Rider Ichigo figure/statue was about 2 feet tall. I think he also made noises and his helmet might have been able to light up too. I do not like the design of the Kivaala, Nadeshiko or Femme suits - particularly the over-sexualized Kivaala. They seem designed to highlight the fact that the character in the suit is female, as if that’s the only interesting or noteworthy thing about her.

Srsly. Because they never pander to the older female audience ever, lol. I can recall like a million ass-shots in Kiva (booty booty booty), and the usual amount of half-naked men running around in these series.
As another reblogger stated, females are made of female parts! Therefore the suit design is going to reflect that. (Actually it’s kind of funny, the reblogger stated that the average cup size is a C [I assume they meant America] and how boobs that size wouldn’t fit in a male suit. And that’s true. Most Japanese women it wouldn’t matter for anyway since they tend to run more in a or B cup sizes. Hell, I’m an A myself and that’s WHY I want to do a full suit, because binding would be a piece of cake.)
Granted, you could argue IXA though, since it had both a male and female rider as a user. YOU COULD ALSO ARGUE that most suit actors are male and chances are most of the time a male suit actor is going to be playing a female character (though sometimes it’s been vice versa and mostly I think it happens in Sentai? I could TOTALLY BE WRONG, someone please POLITELY say something if otherwise). So even by these means, gender doesn’t really mean anything.
tl;dr Kamen Rider is a show with a target audience of 7-12 year old Japanese boys who don’t care about women and therefore are not objectifying them or are thinking about boobs anyway at that age. COOL SUIT DESIGNS ARE ALL THAT MATTERS.

WAIT WAIT WAIT. These are my friends, John and Teresa! I went to college with them. They got that license plate earlier this year as a memorial to a friend of ours, also whom we went to college with, who passed. He was a HUGE HUGE toku fan. He will be greatly greatly missed.
